The amount national child benefit supplement (NCBS) for July 2014 to June 2015 are:

- $2,241 ($186.75 per month) for the first child
- $1,981.92 ($165.16 per month) for the second child; and
- $1,885.92 ($157.16 per month) for each additional child
If you income is higher than $25,584, the NCBS will be reduced. The reduction is calculated as follows:

- One-child family: $12.2% of the amount of the adjusted family net income that is more than $25,584
- Two-child family: $23% of the amount of the adjusted family net income that is more than $25,584
- Three-child family: 33.3% of the amount of the adjusted family net income that is more than $25,584
If you are on social assistance, the NCBS may affect the amount of your social assistance payments. Many provinces and territories will consider the NCBS you get as income and will adjust your basic social assistance by this amount.
