The CCTB include three components: basic benefit, the national child benefit (NCB), and the child disability benefit (CDB).

CCTB is an income tested benefit. When your income reaches certain level, you will no longer receive the benefit.

To continue getting the CCTB, you and your spouse or common-law partner each have to file separate income tax returns every year.
