Yes, there is an age limit. You can contribute to your registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) until the end of the year in which you turn 71.

You can contribute to an RRSP under which your spouse or common-law partner is the annuitant (Spousal or common-law partner RRSP) until the end of the year your spouse or common-law partner turns 71.
