The amount of basic Canada child tax benefit (CCTB) from July 2012 to June 2013 is (except Alberta):
- $1,405 (117.08 per month) for each child under age 18
- A supplement of $98 ($8.16 per month) for your third and each additional child
The benefit is reduced if your adjusted family net income is more than $42,707. The reduction is calculated as follows:
- Family with one child: 2% of the amount of adjusted family net income that is more than $42,707.
- Family with two or more children: 4% of the amount of adjusted family net income that is more than $42,707
